One of my very favorite requests when it comes to styling a newborn photoshoot for parents of an infant for their upcoming portrait session at my Oswego New York professional photography studio, is monochromatic setups!

There just isn’t anything more visually appealing or classic to hang as artwork on your walls or cohesive to put in a photo album than images that are planned out and styled using hues and shades of the same color!

They are always so beautiful and may be chosen in shades to compliment the colors in your home, so your finished images will flow nicely once hung on your walls.

Monochrome styling allows for your favorite color to be added to your baby’s session, yet, because it is tone on tone, it is not overpowering with busyness, as not to distract from the focus of the image… your baby!
