Being a Newborn Baby Photographer is job that demands much patience and above all else caution and care for the newborns I work with, which is why I always work with my  assistant Phoebe by my side, to keep a hand or eye on baby at all times, when posing, never more than an arms length away, to ensure the safety of my tiniest clients.

I can not stress enough how invaluable Phoebe is to my sessions, and how smoothly they flow because of her.

Phoebe is shown here in an unedited behind the scenes shot with a recent newborn photography session in the studio and then a final fully edited version of the image taken.

Not only does she keep an eye or hand on baby, but she is there to hand me the next tiny newborn knit sized just for infant babies or prop that is next in line on my shot list for the newborn photoshoot that day.

After the photography session is complete, she helps clean the studio, sort props for washing and put items back where they belong, so they are ready for the next family that visits my Oswego NY Maternity and Newborn, Baby and Family Photo Studio.

Did you know that you can schedule your Newborn Portrait Experience prior to your baby’s birth? 

Newborn Portraits are best captured within the first 14 days of birth, so it is important to book well in advance of your due date.
